A new professional sports team is coming to Austin at 11400 Concordia University Drive. The Texas Smoke, a women’s professional softball team, will make their debut at Concordia University Texas’ Roberts Family Field with a June 15 game.
The Texas Smoke is the fourth team in Women’s Professional Fastpitch, the United States’ official professional softball league. The new team is owned by Brandon Phillips, a former World Series Champion for the Boston Red Sox and MLB All-Star, and Jade Cargill, the longest-reigning All Elite Wrestling TBS Champion.
Concordia University Texas will provide collaborative game day experiences with Texas Smoke, including tailgates. Tickets are available online. www.thetexassmoke.com
