Lindsay Thomas is thrilled to return to the states to join The Texas Smoke, after playing for the Kaiapoi Queens in New Zealand. She hails from Irvine, California, and has previously played professionally overseas with her twin sister.

Thomas played all four years of her college career with her twin at The University of North Carolina Greensboro. She graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor’s in Psychology, and graduated with her Master’s in Sport Management from Western Carolina University.

In addition to her own career achievements, she also coached at Virginia Tech and Western Carolina University before she signed with the Smoke. Thomas and her sister also have a mental performance business that they run called Training Untamed.

Thomas is the daughter of David and Carol, and has two sisters. Her older sister, Laura, played softball for one year at Northwood. And her twin sister Nicole was a pitcher and teammate at UNCG and across the globe.

  • Pac-12 Triple Crown Winner

  • NFCA All-Region First Team

  • Ranked 24th in home runs nationally and 54th in batting average
